They are true freshmen, they can’t get snaps with the 1s.

They’ll get overpowered, they won’t pick up the same blitz over and over again, they won’t open running lanes, they’ll commit penalties.

Okay, I made my point I’m done.

It sounds like Richt has a lot of hope for the three freshmen so I would expect them to start getting more and more burn as the season wears on.

Vets are doing the same mistakes. Might as well ride with freshmen

These three guys are quality players. The old guys brought in before are literally all trash. Donaldson is a good guard. St. Louis is serviceable. But jones and Mahoney are trash. The guys richt has brought in are good or we are in wait and see mode

At this point Scaife needs to be worked in but I thinK it might be a bit too early for reed

Boulware played better than Jones

He had better have hope. He has no choice, he hasn't recruited any talent otherwise. Our offensive line recruiting has been completely lazy and lacking in numbers and quality.

If those guys don't deliver, we are screwed for at least a couple more seasons on the offensive line.

I see what you did there

Over rated out of hs - got no coaching his Sr. year
Who? I was Just saying Scaife because he could be an immediate fit somewhere on the line and appears to be the 6th or 7th lineman right now therefore closer to playing than reed

Jesus Christ it's year 3 and people are still hoping that the Freshman step in and become impact starters.

I'm more interested in getting Scaife time at RT so Donaldson can move inside and Mahoney to the bench.

The point of getting reps with the first team is KEY! This stands for the QBs. I don't just want to see the QBs play but play with the first team, so we can do a fair evaluation, apples to apples comparison. We are playing freshman with the number one units with the WR, TE and the entire defense, do so with Scaife, Reed, Weldon, Perry and Spicer.

Yes but we don’t let facts get in the way round here.

Did you see the thread by Lance Roffers with the breakdown of some individual plays.

Is it really a fact that Hayden Mojones graded out best?

Or is it a case of favoritism? Is he the OLs Glenn Cook?

Didn't Mahoney grade out the best of all the OL?

Not sure if this is a joke but Boulware I believe graded out the best at 83%. Mahoney isn't a starter at a big time FBS program. We can keep him in until Scaife or Reed is ready but Boulware needs to take someones reps.
