Redwine will probably get drafted higher than JJ, but some team will be very happy they drafted JJ though the years. He is smart and makes plays. there is always a spot in a good defense for guys like him.

Gerald Willis late 2nd-3rd
Joe Jackson 3rd round
Michael jackson 3rd -4th round
Sheldrick redwine 3rd-4th round
Travis homer 4th- 5th round
Jaquan Johnson 4th-5th round
Tyree St. Louis 6-7th round

Where was redwine better? Jaquan missed 2 1/2 games and still had 30 more tackles than him. That tells me that man was all over the field.
Took better angles imo and was much better in coverage. Jaquan played in the box majority of the time so of course he will have more tackles. Redwine is just a more complete safety in the eyes of evaluators of the next level due to his athleticism, coverage ability as well has ability in the run game

I really don’t get how Michael Jackson and redwine didn’t get a significant bump in where they are projected to go by most in this draft class especially considering it’s a weak db class. They have the size and elite athleticism based on combine results. I absolutely Believe both are clear cut at least 3rd round picks. Jackson I feel Should probably go even higher than that. Joe Jackson should but a lock for at least a top 75 but he’s not. **** if chad Thomas can go 67 last year then you would think joe Jackson would go higher than that but i guess not. A handful of our our guys outside of Jaquan are being undervalued in this process this year imo.

Took better angles? That is one of his big problems at times. And quan was good in coverage. That pff shît be off the wall with a lot of their shît but they had jaquan rated high in coverage too. Quan is just more impactful than redwine.

Just put on the film. Red had a few more splash plays but just consistently every game vs the run and pass quan was more complete.

I don’t know but it was several games redwine thoroughly outplayed him. Boston college being one of them. Redwine looked like the best player on the team in that particular game imo

Draft projections from what i have seen is
Quan 4th
Joe 4th
Willis 5th (They have willis as the 8th DT with a 2nd-3rd round grade but project him to go 5th)
Homer 5th
Mike 6th
They have redwine listed as a cb and have him with a 4th-6th round grade but don't have him in the mock draft.

Jaquan was a **** of a player and a leader on the field and in the locker room. Unfortunately measurable do matter at the highest level and the combination of small and slow doesn't often pan out in the league. I'm not ruling him out though. He's got heart and plays very smart. he might not get picked early but I believe he has a good chance to make a nice career in the NFL.
