Redwine’s Message To Fans

Only thing that bothers me is that it seems the fans were more upset about them losing by 30 than the players were. Just strange. I respect his message though. Do you homie.

How do we know how they felt? Defense held a couple player only meetings so it seems they took something personal.

So a Internet forum is not a place for criticism? only sunshine?

I thought we talked about all things good and bad on this board. Seems to me if someone is critical it seems to be a problem on this site.

Hey when you love someone or something I believe you’ve got the right to criticize and ask questions. We have enough people going through life everyday tucking their tails between their legs and being afraid so speak up on issues. This world needs more leaders not more sheep!

Internet forums should be a place to discuss the good and bad. We are all UM fans at the end of the day and everyone wants to see this program get back to its rightful place.

Not here.

You mad? Too close to home for you.

I am supporting the college athlete - You’re a dumbass for comparing the state of the program under Golden vs Richt.

No one is comparing Golden’s program to Richt’s. That’s a leap you made on your own. I guess you felt you needed a straw man to argue against? Or perhaps you don’t understand the difference bn an example and a comparison?

Fans hold ADs and coaches accountable. So don’t get upset when they voice their opinions. Because when change is needed (generally in any program) it isn’t BC the AD decided the product isn’t good enough.

I don’t recall any banners bashing athletes either. Another straw man you’re trying to argue against.

The banners were entirely about Golden. Well, and a couple about FSU beating up women.

Douchebag- he took the shot at Redwine - I supported Redwine. He made the straw man argument about fans having their say and impact with Golden. Totally off topic. I took the opportunity to say he is a dumbass for comparing the two regimes (which is completely accurate) to justify the foolishness this week.

No one compared Golden to Richt. It was an example for why you can’t get mad at fans being upset. The fans are really the ones who hold the coaches accountable in any program. They’re the consumers. The money. It’s just how it is.

The banner example is BC even as ****ed off as the fans were during the Golden Years, players were never attacked. Not singularly or as a group. The fans who flew those banners wanted more for the players too. And we got it.

I hear ya - as a season ticket holder for years doesn’t mean you attack the college athlete and not expect another fan to support him. Weak argument to connect fan impact because they pay for tickets or pay for a banner during Golden regime (he was getting canned based on his performance anyway) vs getting on a kid who says dont be a fan later.
