The defense is fineRedwine needs to worry about that defense
He's clearly saying "**** you if you criticised us (as a team and our coaches) for getting curb stomped by LSU on national tv!"Lot of overreactions here. All he's saying is the team is on an upswing so don't get down on them. Not sure why that's such a big deal.

It's a shame, but I can see Diaz, Richt et al fostering a siege mentality this year - us against the world. Even our own fanbase.
SIAP, but what are your thoughts on this?
Yeah one of the other turnovers was kinda lucky, but his interception was worthy of the chain.I’ll add this. His interception was a **** good catch.
It was a bad look IMO, especially since the poeple he was broadcasting his feelings to were actually there supporting them/him.
He should be smarter than that.
We are fair weather fans. Even during the 80s and 90s and 2000-2002 we only sell out the big games. We don’t sellout Virginia. Being a **** product is an oversimplification of the situation. In 1997 when we we were 5-6, it wasn’t a **** product, it was the scholarship reductions and fans that understand football knew that and supported the team through that dark period. In 2007 we were back in rebuilding mode because Coker left Shannon nothing. We then realized Shannon wasn’t the answer. The only time we can truly say we were **** was under Golden. The issue wasn’t “the cloud” he was running the program into the ground. We’re not fair weather. We’re just not going to turn out to support a shlt product. There’s just too much to do in Miami to waste time on mediocrity. This fan base has been dying for this team to be good again, and when we are, I’ll pit our 70,000 home field crowd against anybody’s 100,000+.
You mean the Canes of old that got drubbed by UF in the first championship season or the Canes of old that lost to PSU in the Fiesta when JJ refused to just hand it off to Highsmith or the Canes of Old which when ranked #1 lost to BYU or the Canes of old that lost East Carolina?
Any fan that was around during the “old” days of greatness can confirm that Miami routinely came out flat or just played flat out ******. Often times they still won but there were losses. And two of those losses, that are mentioned above, were WORSE than what happened on Sunday.
So let’s stick with the facts.
- the fans booed Rosier (a kid of limited QB abilities doing his best)
- kid splay like they’re supposed to and sometimes their games isn’t without flaws.
- Redwine has done more to up his game than “fans” have done to up theirs. He showed up on Saturday, Canes “fans” … not as much.
