Wow! Berrios sucks? Let's see your collegiate athletic/academic accomplishments. ****, high school level? The kid has been hurt, dropped a pass, hasn't took over a game. So what, he's young still, a bright young man. Everyone don't get that bad a$$ year from jump street. He balled against his peers as a high schooler, and now he is injured and handcuffed by his coach. Terrell Owens dropped more passes than any HOF(future) receiver ever has. let it go. We don't have a good sample size of his skills yet. And we may never with this staff. (Wes welker dolphin stats VS wes welker Patriot stats for example) The kid can play, gotta heal and get the opportunity tho. ****, think Chad Thomas forget how to beat all those guys and sack the QB ? Or is he just being a Cheeseburger like they want?

You obviously don't know who Sonny Long is. Sonny has several long standing school records at a certain FBS Power 5 School.

No they probably won't get it since Stacey is fine and playing and Berrios doesn't have a season ending injury. You can't make the injury up either. Not sure why we need to do this every year with redshirt talk

Thanks, He can say Berrios sucks then. I also say he has not done much at this point on the field! But it's still early. I also said Coley was gonna be the man! He didn't show up last year, not so far this year either. But first year he was money! Lay off the players, coaches gotta put them in position to succeed! (just check heisman winners NFL careers) Coach Al Golden is the problem. Berrios would be Patriots Wes Welker with the right coach. Period!

It is good to know you have never been frustrated by rush hour traffic, unless of course you are responsible for the one metropolitan area with perfect civil engineering.
I also believe we have at least 50, maybe more, that could be doing better with a real "head coach"... we have a few good position coaches, don't get me wrong. But as Al says, "It starts with me"! How many times we gotta hear the post game presser include "we gotta, gonna, need, have to get it CORRECTED"? He is not getting it corrected guys! #flythebanner

I tend to agree with Rok on this one, especially w/r/t Stacy Coley. Hammy issues can linger for a loooooong time if you don't take the appropriate amount of time to let it heal properly. Im not sure about Berrios though.
I really liked what Ive seen from Brady. Im confident he can pick up some slack. Folks are talking up this Cager kid. I need to see more of him myself before commenting.
Im also curious as to why folks think Stacy Coley is our best deep threat. What have you seem from him that gives you that impression??

AH! I see what you think. No, that's not what I think. I won't throw a kid under the bus like Al. Berrios can play, he's been injured. I don't know if he's "soft" or not though. I know I have seen this before, and he should have went to NC State, just as Nick Maddox shouldn't have went to FSU. Miami head coach is too stupid to put "any" of the players he has in a position to succeed! 6-7 with more talent than 125 of 128 teams in the country!

Homey, I am sorry I hurt your feeling with my "Berrios Sucks" comments. Most of the kids that sign LOIs "are Bright" kids, so there is no need to qualify Berrios as a "Bright" kid.
Truthfully, I was never high on the kid. I thought and still think he was/is an ordinary talent. S.Fla is loaded with extraordinary talent at WR, so why go to NC to get an ordinary talent? People got caught up on that Combine Sh*t. Last I checked the game is not played with 3 cones and in shorts and helmets. I think Beerios would be having a much better career at UNC, USCe or Wake Forest. Why? No Alfraud Folden stunting his growth....same with Coley, Waters and others. Coley would be household name anywhere else.

I agree that it should be a rare WR that we take out of state - Kevin Williams, Wesley Carroll, Reggie Wayne.
Coley was considered the top WR in the state the year he came out. He should become a difference maker for us (with proper coaching). Without proper coaching, we'll see what happens....
We have some really solid WRs lined up in 2016 for the first time since....I don't know which year - 2008 maybe....If they stick, we'll have some nice, young talent (and speed).
This is something that our new head coach could utilize...

Sometimes you have to recruit a kid without regard to certain factors. There are two kids on the roster that come to mind. (1) Jelani Hamilton. Most of us who evaluated him in HS felt he was not going to be a solid D1 player, but the home town coach simply HAD TO offer him. He was a high four star kid who had all sorts of offers and very much looked the part.
(2) Berrios: Yes there were probably some other kids in-state who had higher ceilings but Berrios' performances in HS and in the Nike Opening mandated that a coach offer him, especially since he wanted a UM offer. It is what it is.
I feel that Berrios can have a productive career at UM if he stays healthy. Jelani Hamilton, maybe not so much.

This is a money year for Coley, he needs to sack up and play through being dinged. It's football nobody is every truly 100% after the first game or 2.
