Redshirt situations in CFB

I know right at this moment the situations are not exactly the same, but what if we end the next 3 games (UVA, GaTech, Pitt) with a 3-5 record, I could definitely see some of our guys considering this redshirt option to save their college careers. Especially if confidence in the staff gets even lower.

Are Rutgers players Raheem Blackshear and Art Sitkowski quitters or forward-thinking with redshirt? In changing college football, it is sign of times.

If guys havent played yet...what careers are they savng?. They aint that good and will only be able to transfer to lower level programs honestly
