We can talk about coaching, offensive line, defense, fans, but red zone is our greatest problem.

MTSU went to the red zone and scored on 3 plays with 2 and 3 star offensive linemen. We struggled to get in, why?

We have left at least 35 points on the board, this is inexcusable!

The U has to fix this ASAP!

We struggled to get in because, despite stacking the box, Gattis continues to run into the teeth of the defense.

Then 1 guy girded both our TEs. Mallory ran a bad route anyways. Wouldn’t have scored even if he caught it.

Gattis has no idea how to use space. “Speed in space” was all talk.

Failure starts at the top. We brought in a new CEO to change the culture. He has been given the resources to build, so let‘s see if he has grown or is tone deaf. I am not a Mario guy at all, this failure is completely on the staff, but I will give him this year to figure it out. If we lose like this next year, Mario is just another collecting guaranteed checks at the U.

Once we get inside the five, it's like the twilight zone for Gattis' play calling. It's like watching a GoT or House of the Dragon wedding.

Gattis sucks here and he sucked at Michigan, he was basically getting demoted this year (they were making another guy the co-OC, the guy who actually turned the offense around last year). What I'm trying to figure out is how did Mario not know this? I found it in 5 minutes once I googled about Gattis when his name came up about being hired.

Mario has this insanely long interview process, wtf did he ask him? Gattis' scheme is **** and he doesn't know offense well at all so what did he say to convince Mario to hire him? That's a massive, massive red flag.

Runs up the gut out of the gun….. that’s the best options in the Gattis playbook

Mario seems like a Control freak, ala Saban...
No conflicts of interest...BUT...even Saban finally relented in ref to Offensive philosophy for the betterment of the team.

He must've sang the Song of Mario to Mario. Deal closed.

No one micromanages like Saban did. And as you point out, even he saw the light offense wise. Mario needs to do likewise stat.
