Red Bandanna Night in ChestnutHill

Anyone besides me ever questioned that red banana story? When I first heard the Tom Rinaldi version years ago, I said to myself… this sounds made up by a family that needed to believe their son died heroically and not panicking in fear like everyone else. And of course Boston College (and ESPN) had to milk it for their own self interest.
Who knows what's true and what's not but it was a story before ESPN turned it into a bigger deal. Apparently they found his body almost intact near where the firemen had set up shop on the ground floor.

Sad this discussion seemingly comes up every year because the Canes do not controll their own destiny in the weak coastal div.
I still say this game could have an impact on Miami's Coastal dreams.

Pitt could go 1-3 to finish the season.
UVA could go 0-2 to finish the season.
Miami could beat everyone except VT.

It could happen...

Exactly, Pitt and Virginia both need to lose a conference game and we need to win out. Pitt and Virginia still need to play each other, so that's one down. I think the most realistic scenario is Pitt beating UVA and then losing to UNC.
Mack Brown coaching for his job?

My high school teammate was on one of the planes and my buddy, who my son is named after, was in the Towers. Full disclosure, I am a BC grad, not a honk, just a grad and I love how they pay tribute. BC got this right. I have no idea the validity of the story but knowing what my people and I went through…. whatever gets the parents though the day is cool with me. Just my thought on the subject, nothing more nothing less.
