Had to perform 200yd swim test in dry suits* with river current or Class V portion was a no-go.

I've been in cold water before, but GOODNESS GRACIOUS was that brisk. 38 degrees at noon.

*they keep you "dry-ish" IF the seals work perfectly. Mine kept me bone dry, Ms Empirical not so much Empiricalette is the honey badge...she didn't give a shït
