Oregon has out recruited us and don't let the lies of "rankings" get in the way of the truth.

Look at recruiting in 2012. Oregon was rated below us because they only had 21 signees (which btw should be about the most teams should need to sign every year if they do a decent job developing and retaining players). Their class was loaded with blue chip 4 star players. Meanwhile we signed 33(or 35 depending where you read) loaded with a vast majority of 3 star with a few blue chips such as Duke(lLouis-Jean never made it in) and a share of 2 stars. We signed 3 QBs who were never going to see the field (if we expected to be competitive) .

Look at it this way; the way recruiting is ranked a team signing 40 2-star players would be rated ahead of a team signing 15 5-star players. Why group would you rather have on your team?
