Allen Hurns #1 WR Miami Carol City Senior High Senior Highlight Class Of 2010

NFL.Com Draft - Analysis
Strengths Good length and competitive speed. Runs hard after the catch. Adjusted well to frequent errant throws.

Weaknesses Narrow-framed and non-physical. Struggles to separate against tight man coverage. Lacks polish and precision in his routes. Average burst out of his breaks. Is not a burner -- limited long speed. Soft blocker.
Draft Projection Rounds 6-7

Bottom Line An underneath, zone receiver, Hurns emerged as the Hurricanes' top go-to receiver as a senior. Runs a lot of simple, stationary, short-to-intermediate routes and could have a more difficult time shaking NFL cornerbacks.

#89 : Allen Hurns (WR, Jaguars) | Top 100 NFL Players of 2016: Undrafted Free Agent. "Where did that guy come from? ****!" Patriots Coach Bill Belichick

I'm greatful for making Miami football watchable.

And I wonder if people used to say "but that stiff arm won't work in college"?

I went to school with Duke...he was stiff arming DT's and DE's to the point we knew he would do it greatly in college also. Dude still does that **** in the NFL lmao.

I'm honestly upset that his stiff arm on madden isn't over 90 (petty I know)
You can teach a stiff arm, but the best ones are like Duke's, totally natural.

Why do people have to compare up and comers to legends? I mean it must be an honor for them but im sure they wanna make their own mark not be someones shadow. Also its ******* annoying.

+bigjjohnson21 It's like saying this guy (the up and comer) is so good, he reminds me of a legendary guy that was really good. it's a complement for one guy and paying homage to another.
