All right so I just had to start a new thread because there appears to be far too many recruiting newcomers here. Paid recruiting sites like rivals and 247 make money off of subscriptions and clicks.

Close to big recruiting annoucements you should expect to have a bunch of updates. This is for the purpose of getting people to sign up for their site and get clicks. Sometimes it is legit info, but a lot of the time a player really keeps everything close to his vest and quiet. Regardless these sites need updates so they put out whatever they can muster.

That is exactly what ferman did with Campbell to Bama. He needed an update and even better make it bold. This is a way to get people talking about the site and even more clicks. But that won't be the last update. Before the annoucement ferman will state he is now hearing chatter about another school, most likely georgia, for campbell. He will also state a fall back excuse. For example "but his family wants him to stay home at miami." This is for if he does pick Miami Ferman can have an excuse "knew it family convinced him"

You see ferman knows no more than u and I on this situation as Tyson has kept everything quiet. These sites want activity and most importantly to protect themselves. So no matter what happens tomorrow people can't say they were 100% wrong.

So basically relax and wait for tomorrow. Info is just guesses until then.

IMPORTANT: Does this mean Ferman is wrong and Campbell is going to Miami? I hope so but Idk. The only people that will know prior to the announcement are Campbell, close fam, possibly friends, and possibly coaches, but definitely not you, me, or Ferman.

Separately predict that the player will land at all realistic options within the final 24 hours, and then high-five yourself when they pick one of them.

Ariz was one of the few to make actual predictions with no disclaimer.. it was great when he was right but oh boy those times he was wrong every ****wad on this site jumped on him.

He was hardly ever (never) wrong at the end. By the time it came for the kids to announce, he was almost always right about where the kid was heading. But in the buildup he has obviously been hella wrong (jobe/whoopi)

Bingo, but you can't make it too obvious. You can't just say Bama then Miami then Georgia. Your last prediction has to include at least 2 teams. You need a fall back. In this case Miami is the easiest. Probable ones are: mom wants him home (surtain), relationship with Rumph, or talk with Richt (colburn).

You don't pick miami because that is not what the safe pick is, but you throw in a fall back excuse just in case.

Have U noticed that everything they've chosen to report and base their updates and crystal balls on is circumstantial evidence (aside from Surtain naming LSU and Bama his top two), but when that same circumstantial info is in our favor they never allow it to impact their updates and CBs? Ivins, Miami Diehards etc…are frauds for the selective vibing pro-SEC based info they are serving up to our fan base. SEC vibes impact CBs, but UM vibes are "nothing to see here". They even captioned the AH3 visit uniform video from our locker room has not being impactful or pertinent to anything. Now imagine that video reaching social media from Clemson or Alabama's locker room, the CBs would come rolling in. Look at the info that has them reported their skepticism regarding Chatman and now Nesta. Its all reportable when its anti-UM.

Not stating we get Campbell. Just guaranteeing that ferman knows no more than what we do. Its all for activity on the site. No need to panic over it as it will change because "recruiting is fluid" like he will say

Also very key to wait until the 11th hour to execute this maneuver. It just wouldn't work too far in advance. All the Twitter would call you on your nonsense if it were a month out and they were thinking clearly.

Even Pete can't anticipate how big the bags from a few SEC teams will drop.

All other things being equal - no bags - Jobe would be with Miami.

Maybe. Wasn't really my point. My point is everyone saying Ariz was so wrong at the end are revisionists
