Guys, we've never won at VT on Thursday night, because we've never played them on the road on a Thursday night.

The '99 game wasn't on a Thursday night. I was at the game, good times. Drove up with some other Miami fans from college in New Orleans. One of the dumber things we decided to do, which is saying a lot, since we went to school in New Orleans. We're actually 1-0 against VT on Thursday nights, beating them 16-14 in 2008 in Miami.

We're 12-2 since 2002 against conference and FBS teams. In the only 2 times we played Virginia Tech on Thursday night both games were home and they were wins: 16-14 in 2008 and 30-12 in 2012.
