Ereck Flowers OL 6-6 324 Jr. Miami, Fla. (Miami Norland HS)
Phillip Dorsett WR 5-10 195 Sr. Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. (St. Thomas Aquinas HS)
Denzel Perryman LB 6-0 242 Sr. Coral Gables, Fla. (Coral Gables HS)
Clive Walford TE 6-4 258 Sr. Belle Glade, Fla. (Glades Central HS)
Duke Johnson RB 5-9 206 Jr. Miami, Fla. (Miami Norland HS)
Jon Feliciano OL 6-5 316 Sr. Davie, Fla. (Western HS)
Anthony Chickillo DL 6-4 282 Sr. Tampa, Fla. (Alonso HS)

UDFAs
Thurston Armbrister LB 6-3 241 Sr. Hollywood, Fla. (Hollywood Hills HS)
Ladarius Gunter DB 6-2 198 Sr. Montgomery, Ala. (Jefferson Davis)

Update: Shane McDermott got an NFL contract with the Carolina Panthers on its practice squad. Anthony Chickillo, after initially making the NFL 53-man roster, got downgraded to the Steelers practice squad after a weird move by Steelers HC Tomlin where he can continue on his development as a first time LB/Rush LB. Bad news with Chickillo going on the practice is that he knocked off fellow '13 Cane Shayon Green of that squad, and now Shayon is look for Football work

This is a system headed by Joe Patterno disciple Al Golden, trained by Trainer & ex-Cane CB Coach Andreu Swazey, and fed through UM cutting new edge nutrition dept, creating the key synergy forming the driving forces and influence fueling the UM journey of these young athletic men to their dream destination in the League. Considering that only Duke Johnson was a 5*, Chickillo a 4*, the other 8 '14 Cane as zero starts to 3* recruits, what can honestly be said for this unprecedented UM Football production?

Yet somehow in 2014 Al Golden posted Miami's 3rd losing season in the last 35 years!

Where are the Ws?

The issue of the seven (7) games lost by the 10 NFL-bound 2014 Canes has been debated ad nauseaum: It's because Al Golden & Crew game day coaching sucks, they do not put the players in position to be successful, they're playing patty cake, no press D, passive D, etc...beating that dead horse.

The reality of the aforementioned cause is that Al Golden will be gone for 2016, whether it'd be due to being hired away (after 9 plus wins) or fired (8 or less wins).

Having laid that out without equivocation, the next Head Guy to come may well scrap much of the processes put in place by the fired and outgoing staff, including Andreu. We'd be starting from scratch as new Head man would find an atmosphere rife with over-correction; one that he exploits to his advantage in buying more time by wanting to prove that the departed regime did everything wrong... and he needs the years to correct and clean it all up before all traces of the old culture can be disappeared and swept away.

When an entity doesn't recognize and treasure its strengths while going through much internal struggle and incessant strife within its stakeholders -- ending in leadership change -- the prevailing party/side (in ousting the old regime) do so by not only depicting the unacceptable failures of said old regime, but by showing very low regard for the strengths and achievements of the forced out regime (and basically UM system), if not showing zero recognition altogether.

arguendo,
that is still a risk worth taking ultimately. In light of the failures of this regime, you seem to be suggesting that we don't fire ag at all- for sake of some conjured upheaval that may or may not be forthcoming, but to be considered and avoided, provided the next hire is a worthy one.

nope.

sorry there blue skies, your initial qualifications don't support your implied conclusion.

Elaborate or stop with the apologist's lament.

Sounds a lot of fluff words for a weak argument.

LOL what a crock of ****. Everything you just said, specifically about the new regime blaming the old to buy themselves more time, is right out of the Al Golden 300 page Binder of Excuses. Except he doesn't stop there, he also just blames every graduating class for his failures(as well as mean fans, night games, weather, the cloud, the position of the stars, etc.) because he's a fat sack of **** that has never taken responsibility for the fact that he's never done anything to warrant the praise he gets from imbeciles like you.

BTW, 5 of the 7 draft picks were guys that committed to Randy Shannon. Not Al Golden. The other 2 Al had almost nothing to do with. So much for the excuse that he had nothing to work with when he took over.

You should do the world a favor and take a long walk off a short pier.
