RECIPE FOR MANNY SUCCESS

It's not that I support Manny to stay. However, I'm worried that we've changed HC too often recently and failed at all. What makes you think this set of administrators will get it right with another new HC hire?
 
Baker isn't going anywhere. The defense is fine with more speed on the field and Nesta being a vocal leader next year.

Manny needs to bring in an OC that runs the spread and brings along ace recruiters with him if he isn't an ace himself.

No.

Alabama, Clemson, and LSU are huge, state schools.

UM is a small, private school - but - they can win and beat the likes of Saban, Dabo, and Orgeron - and still hold the attractiveness of going to a smaller, private school.

We're in the heart of a recruiting hotbed - and it's akin to living in an orchard - and everyone else comes in to loot the orchard of the fruit - and we get left with empty baskets.

How stupid.

What makes you think Manny is capable of any of this? We have given the keys to an inexperienced hack already, you want to give him more autonomy?

Firing the AD and Head Coach immediately does not set us back another 3 years, in fact it is the only thing that will save us. Keep up at this rate we will get none of our 2021 targets, get smashed by Alabama, and continue descent into the outer rings of ****.
 
Manny’s success will depend on what job he’s able to con after this.

He can’t recruit
He’s a mediocre D Coordinator
He’s not highly thought of in the coaching circle
He already shot his load way too fast
Nepotism still exist w/in his staff
He’s a horrrrrrrible CEO and is completely out of touch w how to be a coach

Cook, I was all set to jump all over your post BUT actually stopped and went over your post again.

Even though I’AM a Manny supporter but we are very few, Manny has put some real nice recruiting classes including this year’s crop and next years looks even better SO.

If you all get your way with firing Manny ( hope not) whom ever comes in will have full cupboard of studs so yes he’ll probably win instantly instead of 2-3 years with Manny’s guys so the new guys gets NO CREDIT for winning with someone else players Ok.

Plus he’ll probably fire the new OC and we’ll be stuck with more buyouts Enos than Manny’s.

WOW we’ll be the world leader of contract buyouts GEEEZ let alone all the other coaches.

We are in a very tough spot here , trying to hire a new OC while trying to fire our HC 😂

Who in **** would DARE come to Miami UNLESS they want to get RICH quick sign for 3-4 years get fired in 1-2 with new HC and enjoy the buyout years or just retire.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t get an OC even for spring practice.

What A ride this will be , many here may get what they want instability a highway to know where sad days here

You don’t think Dabo and Saban are full involved? You can’t let DCs and OCs run astray from the overall vision as a HC..I honestly think thats what happened on offense. You need more than one one brain on the offensive side of ball to help with game prep

Guess what though, we spent our wad and had to ask for more from some deep pocket boosters. That's how we got Manny. There isn't money left to spend. It is as it always has been, up to those with the deep pockets to pay what we can.

If we had more, those willing to give, we don't end up with Manny. We end up with what you suggest. Flat out, the money isn't there.

Any other suggestions? Amazing that people don't get this. It's like they think we're sitting on a vault full of cash and for whatever reason not spending it. We're on a vault, it's just empty.

You don't have to be a hugh public school to win. We were not huge when we were winning and suddenly now got small. It takes the right recipe to win which we had in our winning days, but lack now.

We must go back to having dedicated QB and ST coaches. We must place emphasis on DL and OL recruiting and play. The HC must be a CEO and allow competent coordinators and assistants to do their job while he manages them. Most importantly, administration must renew commitment to football by paying market value for assistants.
