Recall the moment when you “knew” Manny wasn’t the guy

It was a bad hire initially but he had a chance if he hired the right staff. Once he hired Enos, knew it wasn't good.

This, but a small shred of me still reserves a drop of hope that Manny shït cans Enos and half the staph this offseason and starts over...and actually brings in proven coaches.
 
In case anyone is having amnesia, check the other threads now on the first page and you'll see what I was talking about earlier.

Myself and MANY others on this board HATED the hire from the day it was announced. This isn't a hindsight 20-20 thing, it was ATROCIOUS judgment from the moment Richt resigned. This is par for the course for our clueless, inept ****tard of an administration

you want this guy hiring MORE people? just fire the guy and move on. coker and shannon both did the whole fire the staff thing. a bad coach is a bad coach, no matter who is on staff. manny is a wretched coach.

We are stuck with this guy regardless for at least another year so, yes, if the option is keep this atrocious staph or bring in a real and proven staff...I will advocate for new hires.

Wasn't a fan of the hire initially...starting getting bad vibes once he announced the offense would get something for touchdowns....which seemed like a stupid idea (considering a TD is it's own reward, right?)

Started to realize that Diaz was just empty slogans and gimmicks. Too bad our athletic director is a moron.
 
When I was funneling through threads on CIS about potential head coaching hires. When I looked up we had already hired a coach. The hire wasn’t any of the coaches that excited me from the previous threads I had read 😂

This was my exact moment! I made my self believe he could do it and then saw that clown show
 
When he spent so much time and effort on making the touchdown ring.

I knew then he was more into flash than substance...and that he'd be continuously outworked and outwitted by our opponents

But I knew for sure, when we lost to a 1-5 GTech team coming off a Bye week, at that point I realized he wasn't the guy.

What I didn't anticipate was him being worse than both Shannon & Folden, not even Shannon & the Orange tie ever lost to FAU/FIU. That's a new low in Miami Corching, that's about as bad as it can get.

Manny Diaz is literally Willie Taggart. We clowned FSU for their culture and how it was basically a dance off in Tallahassee. But that's what we are now. Diaz just happened to capitalize at the expense of Taggart as his lack of culture was more set in at the time. Next year is going to be really bad. We're going to lose to Temple and that's going to be the ultimate irony.
 
In all seriousness, I knew as soon as Mullen told him to **** his own face and faked the punt on his own 30 on Florida's 1st drive. The fact that we were not prepared for that told me all that I need to know about the guy and his loser coaching staff.
