This guy demands physicality, mental toughness, puts these kids through the ringer in off season workouts, spring ball, camp, weekly practice, etc. They play a ****** game, but dig deep and utilize the toughness they built to pull it out and move on like all teams have to do during a season. See FSU 31-29 at BC. See UGA last week. It happens.
With the game won, you then sh*t on these kids and turn a 100% win probability into something less. Absolute malpractice and he has the audacity to use some bs wording like recalibrate or we had a chance to close out the game. The game was closed out. They got two first downs on the last drive to ice it.
I don’t blame any kid one bit for not hustling or busting their *** the rest of the year. This was disgraceful and every ounce of blood, sweat, tears these kids have given since January are all for not because of an incompetent coach. He can have all the recruits he wants, what good is it when you deliberately refuse to guarantee a win? What recruit will want to play for you?
