That's exactly what I said, and will always say. If every play you call takes all 11 guys to win their battles, you are in deep trouble. It creates scapegoats and tension, and certainly reduces the number of successful plays.Funny hearing him talk about plays where you don’t have to block anybody. Those are exactly the type of quick-hitting plays I would think about when Richt would say “all 11 guys have to do their job, and if one guy messes up then the play doesn’t work.” What an unnecessary burden to place on your offense.
