We couldn’t afford to buyout Richt. The only way this was going to happen was on his terms and I fully believe Richt orchestrated Manny. Manny being on campus this morning randomly, Richt walking away without a buyout, etc. Clearly he pulled all the strings. If you wanted Richt out above all else, this was the only way it was going to happen. On his own terms. So we trade Richt for Manny and ultimately get the offensive change we’ve been clamoring for all year. I take it as a win. Did we get the dream candidate we wanted, not really, but I firmly think we are in a better place than we were yesterday.
