Something a lot of us are overlooking is that the game has changed in college football, any by game I mean the $$$$ being dropped.
We all may need to come to grips with the fact that Miami will never ever have the budget of a Bama, Michigan or Ta&m, where the sky is the limit.
You look around now and honestly, the money being dropped at top 10 schools on coordinators alone is more than they pay our HC. That is only a fraction of what these big programs spend, they have larger budgets for every teir of staff, from the s&c and medical, to nutrition etc. Richt has helped elevate a lot of these problems we had from the Golden Era, but it's still gonna be difficult to be on a level playing field.
Our only chance is to find people who are passionate about Miami and Miami football, we need Mickey Andrews type of coaches that aren't looking to become a HC and just happy doing their thing. It's hard... And they are rare as ****.
We all wanna play with the big dogs, but our credit can't keep up right now.
