Most fan bases need a reality check that there team is not quite as good as they think, for us we need the opposite. Yes this game was ugly, no way around that. The fact of the matter is we played the triple option pretty badly, but we will not see it again this year and that is not how we play defense against normal teams.

Brad Kaaya is a really good quarterback. He played a good game, people need to realize he is not Cam Newton or Watson that will be able to run out of the pocket and extend a play when the line does a terrible job blocking. If we get in 3rd and longs, he is going to struggle because our OLine is struggling on 3rd and long.

We were in those 3rd and long situations so much because of vanilla play calling. We do not need good play calling to beat GT. Nobody knows how Richt is as a play caller this year until next week. Why beat GT by 30 and show all your plays when you can beat them by 14 and not show any. We needed to execute better those vanilla plays, but it is ok, we did enough.

Now we may not be a National championship team yet, but lets not freak out because we didn't play perfect. Our freshman are playing great and our coaches seemed to have changed the attitude of this team. Let's wait till next week, that will tell us how good Richt is at playcalling, our defense is, and Kaaya is.
