I was thinking this same thing last night re: the build up and let down. It is like we are marks of a long con for our money. I am much more of a face reality head on type person than bury head in sand and tip toe through the tulips having delusions of grandeur. It is better for the young men and coaches to be 2-2, deepl;y humbled, facing serious adversity, and staring into the abyss, than a fraudulent 4-0. It builds winning character and champions. A new coach with a new staff, which may have to be replaced ASAP will almost always take at least 3 seasons, period.
