Real Talk... I think we beat the chit out of clemson..

That team has faced the best in cfb at the end of the season. They ain’t gonna be scared of a team that beat uab, the pigeons, and a bad FSU team.
Not taking anything away from our wins cause we finally did to those teams what above average cfb teams are supposed to do and that’s what I’ve been wanting to see.
Really good cfb teams do what we’ve done so far. They slaughter below average competition and don’t squeak out wins by playing down to the competition.

But that doesn’t mean that Clemson is thinking they’re about to play a playoff team in 2 weeks.
I still don’t see anyone in the media saying we’ve turned the corner to reach the upper echelons of cfb. And that’s a good thing imo.
If your a Clemson player do your really think your gonna focus the same way you would against bama or uga or osu? I seriously doubt it.
But that’s not gonna make Ettiene or Lawrence play bad. Xavier Thomas isn’t gonna suck all of the sudden and Aj Terrel Ain’t gonna grow 2 led feet.

Our work will be cut out for us. But this isn’t the same team they beat a few years ago in Charlotte.

It's going to be close and we will be in it till the end, imo.

This team has confidence, talent and best offensive coaching in forever.

Correct. Clemson's O needs to be kept off the field and given as few plays as possible.

The way Miami D is playing, good chance Blondie and company carve them up for chunks at a time.

I'm sure Lash will still "no huddle" just to stop Clemson's D from substituting......but you can bet everything you own you're going to see most of plays hiked deep into the play clock.

King gives us a puncher's chance. The fact there is basically no home field advantage right now with the Covid restrictions also helps. With all that said, we're still clear underdogs and rightfully so. I just want to see this team fight and have it be a game in the 4th quarter. Do that and a guy like King can make some magic happen.

That Clemson QB is special, no doubt. Say what you want, but Trevor Lawrence is one of the best QB prospects I've seen in a long time. He might look like a goofy surfer dude, but he has size, arm strength, decent speed, good vision and decision making, and great leadership. Mark it down, he will be a force to be reckoned with in the National Football League; if he goes to a decent team.

If we couldn't shut down Louisville's offense, what makes you think we can stop the defending national champions, with the future #1 pick as QB?

They will easily score 30+ on us, with our questionable LB corps and depleted secondary. We won't have Gurvan Hall for the first half.

Can we make this a bar fight? Can our offense score points on Clemson?

If we can, we got a shot.

Honestly, I just want it to be competitive. The last two games we've played against them are a combined loss of 96-3. I can't stand the thought of being embarassed again.
We aren't playing LSU.

So Trevor Lawrence plays for LSU now? 😳

It’s Big Dik Cane - he’s like an old skool CIS delinquent. And he sure as **** isn’t smoking sheesha. IIRC - Dude smokes a lot of THC.

One thing about Clemson is they won't take Miami for granted. Dabo (who I ******* hate-unless he's talking **** about the SEC) always tries to beat the **** out of Miami for recruiting purposes. If we beat them, it won't be a fluke.

They are susceptible against the pass through two games that I’ve watched.

However Miami OL would have to hold up. That’s the part I’m not Sure about.

but I’ve actually watched both of their games.
But can we stop their offense?

But can we stop their offense?

We can certainly play better than we did against UofL, but will we? They're also more capable offensively than UofL with a far better QB and better back.

On paper, they'll move the ball plenty. Can we keep up or slow them down, guess we'll see. We shouldn't win this game, but that's why you play it. Keep it close and I'm happy.

They should be going in confidence and loose. Perfect set up, no one will give them a chance so they can’t by into the outside hype. Play hard and fast let it all hang out. Will be fun
