I was the biggest one in here complaining about dudes not showing up to games.
I was wrong.
keep selling your “building championships” and hiring coaches saying the same sht. But the actions say other wise. No more money from me until sht changes and they show the same commitment I’ve had since 1984 when asking my mom for a UM jersey meant she had to work extra hrs so I could get it for Xmas.

Hecht Spies???

You do realize that this is a PUBLIC messageboard? Thus, you don't need Mata Hari to infiltrate this board to learn the closely guarded CIS secrets. Shhhhh....but, it is no big secret that you CATS hate EVERYTHING UM FOOTBALL and are doing EVERYTHING possible to burn the program to the ground.

How many season tickets do you purchase each year? And how much money do you donate annually?

So in order to voice my opinion and criticize what this program is doing I have to be some big time donor and purchase 10 seats at the 200 level?
I guarantee you the person that buys 2 season tickets at the nose bleeds has more passion and cares more about this team than some company that buys an entire 200 level row every year.
I wish I could be in the position to make my voice count. But you obviously are unaware of a book called “the war of the flea”. I’ll take my drop of blood.
I’ve been going to games and spending money since I was 15 for this team and nothing ****es me off more than walking in that parking lot and seeing those corporate parking spaces close to the stadium. You know, the ones with all the company names in the spaces. And I see those spaces empty for almost all the games.
Obviously they spend money as a donation for tax purposes and could give 3 shts and 0 fcks about anything that goes on with this team.

Okay maybe Hecht spies are the wrong words to describe. I apologize on this poster's behalf. Hecht operatives is a better title.

Operatives? Hmmm. What is your definition of 'Operatives'? Are these Operatives being financially compensated? And if so, who is compensating them?

Are you and your 'burn the UM football program to the ground cohorts' claiming that individuals who are employed within UM's Athletic Department and based in the Hecht Center are Operatives or Spies? It appears that in your eyes anyone who dares to have a differing view than you Anarchists (just taking your lead when labeling people) are the enemy.

I have to apologize and call myself a hypocrite. I’ve said numerous times I won’t give or renew my tickets. I even threw away the orange thing they sent me. Some time has passed since the bowl game. Enos is gone and I’m excited about the new hire. I’m hoping we get a transfer qb. CB and an OL or two from the portal. I can’t see myself not going. My wife and entire family tailgate and watch every game together. I’ll be a full blown idiot, hoping for a coastal win and believing we’re headed to the ACC championship game by spring. Am I angry? Yes. Am I renewing my season tickets? Yes... it’s a Canes thing. You just don’t understand 🙌

The tax laws changed and money is still money. Even if you don’t pay income tax on the money, it was only a discount to earnings. FWIW People always misunderstand what a write-off is and how they work.
Also, don’t guarantee you have more passion or care more than someone else. Who gave you the passion trophy?

Giving up my club level tix this year after 14. Tired of paying with no return in”hopes that this is the year”. I’ll miss **** out the tailgates, but if I want to attend a certain game I’ll buy. $5 ticket on Stubhub. Figured out it’ll save me a bit over 2500 per year.

If a person makes 40k a year it’s way more of a sacrifice to buy season tickets than someone making 500k. So while 1 dollar buys the same amount for both people; there is a difference in what that dollar means. I have nothing against people with money. I work with a bunch of them.
But it’s obvious when I go to the games who has “passion” and who doesn’t.
It’s obvious cause they aren’t in attendance. When I sit down to buy season tickets I can see what has been sold. The suite and club levels are pretty full.
But come game day.......
So no I am not the king of passion but I can tell who doesn’t have it.

I renewed. Battered wife syndrome. I still love football, the U, and tailgating. Also, I lost some good seats when I didn't renew for Golden's last year-which was my form of protest-and I'm still ****ed I can't get those seats back. Whatever.

Even though I talk my ****, I bleed orange and green, so I feel as if I have to support the players, I wont buy season tickets but I will still attend my 2 or 3 games as I do every year
