Real Question: Why do we beat BC and why do we lose to BC?

If we lose, it’ll be very reminiscent of the Pitt game. They’ll be playing at a level ten and we’ll be at a level 5. And they’ll beat us up in the trenches. If Malik can’t hit the open receivers it’ll be a wrap just like Pitt.

Feels a lot like Pitt with it being on a Friday and they are the same type of team/on the road etc. Only difference is we have 2 weeks to prepare and the team will have Pitt in the back of their minds. We shouldn't be surprised.

My girlfriend actually surprised me with tickets today, so I’ll be in attendance. I can’t wait, and I hope we beat the living **** out of them because all my friends in Boston are already saying we’re going to get destroyed.[/QUOTE

We're going to get destroyed? LOL Have been there 3 times; they never come close to selling out the place. Talk is cheap.

If we're playing at a 5 and they are playing at a 10 (like Pitt), it doesn't matter what Rosier does. He's not good enough to overcome us coming out and playing flat. He will struggle, it will be ugly, and he'll catch most of the blame, but if we come out playing 5/10 football the loss will be 100% on the coaching staff.

Besides, this is assuming that no one overtakes Rosier at QB1 before then. I'm just not 100% sure of that assumption.

Could we lose...sure. Like another poster said, it could be like Pitt last year, where a less talented team was at home, more focused and more prepared. That being said, I’m not sure I understand all the hype surrounding BC when they’ve played UMass, Holy Cross and Wake.

Let’s see how they do against NCSt and Louisville before we start believing the hype.
