Real Question: Why do we beat BC and why do we lose to BC?

I think they’re a good very tough team with a Heisman caliber RB, a good accurate QB, and a strong pass rush. This isn’t a fluke team, and I expect them to beat some top teams.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: they will most likely be undefeated by the time we roll into town. A 7-0 BC team playing their biggest game in more than a decade at home, on a Friday night, with a team like UM coming to town, is going to be a challenge no matter how good we play. We can definitely win, but anybody brushing this game off needs a serious reality check.

My girlfriend actually surprised me with tickets today, so I’ll be in attendance. I can’t wait, and I hope we beat the living **** out of them because all my friends in Boston are already saying we’re going to get destroyed.

We looked like *** against lsu, and yet...

Every year there's hand wringing over GT, and every few years over BC as well. It's not that teams like that aren't potentially dangerous, it's just that we'd have to beat ourselves pretty badly to lose to them. They are well coached and all that, but they just don't have the players. So yeah, they could beat us but not without quite a bit of our help.

And also? al beat both of those teams.
Al didn’t beat this BC team, and I think he lost to a 4-8 BC team.

We should beat them, but FSU should have beat them last year too. And we should have beat Pitt.

Before the season I had us 11-1 with the L @BC. I still expect us to lose this game. BC is a good above average team that will finish second in the Atlantic.

We win because I'll be there. Timeshare in Dennis Port.

Canes never lose when I attend roaders.

Well, once...the debacle at Cincinnati

The BC running back out of New London (also hometown of Kris Dunn and a Tuff hood) is the truth. Our LBs might get worked.

Dennis Port. Come on cuz. Step that game up. Dennis is struggle city. For mainland you'd want to be in Chatham, Osterville, Orleans or New Seabury. Maybe water access Falmouth too if you're a die hard masshole. Chatham is the best of the mainland towns

Got several games before bc we can't afford or have the team that can look ahead.just win Sat then Sun we can worry the game the following Sat or whenever it is.

They are disciplined and can run the football. Their QB can make enough plays where they are not 1 dimensional. And a home game on a Friday night is going to have them jacked. This is the game I've had circled since the schedule came out. If Richt wants to win me over, dominate FIU, UNC and FSU (all bad teams) at home. Handle business against UVA and go into the bye week 6-1 with some convincing wins. Then take the team on the road in a tough(ish) environment and punch these f*ggots right in the mouth and secure a big road conference win before we come back home to play Duke
This is the type of team that gives us trouble. Veteran, blue collar team. Experienced on the OL. A few studs on a solid defense.

Athough they are a solid squad, we should get the W. Athletically they don’t match up. These are the kind of games that, if won, show progress. I’d take a win over BC and a loss to LSU 7 days a week, rather than vice versa. Must win conference game.

My concern is we have always struggled against hard nosed teams. This team at BC seems like one of those teams. Record wont matter, we will get their best. I think it will be a pretty solid atmosphere. And they have a really tough power run game. Our Lbs, have been meh, outside of #9 our DL has been meh, lots of TFls, but also lots of long runs by guys that have no right busting off an ten yard run on us. So I worry about them controlling the game with the run. And their QB, well we also have the ability to make opposing qbs into Heisman hopefuls. On the road that is all a recipe for disaster.

We are more talented, but if we don't bring out A game, it could be a LONG game.

Let’s be real, the main problem is Rosiers inconsistency gives any team with a pulse a chance to win .

Not worried about stopping Brown and Dillon . He’ll get his yards. This game - like all our other big games - will come down to Rosiers play

Wake is a good team, and that freshman QB is better than Rosier. We should be able to score on them no doubt. But Rick has a tendency to play right into the strength of opposing defenses.

And Brown will most likely eat Diaz’s loose coverage for dinner. There will be wide open receivers, and he’s shown the ability to be very accurate. Not to mention, Dillon is the best RB in college football.
That true freshman is not better than rosier, the idiocy on the board is reaching new heights

BC is too far down the road to worry about them. Let’s worry about FIU, then UNC and then FSU. We have too many things to improve week in and week out.

BC can run the rock and they have a solid D. Their D end is a projected 1st rounder. The atmosphere is gonna be nuts because its their "Red Bandana" game. It would be low key a big win if the Canes go in there and dominate.

Probably won’t be all that low key, as BC should be a top 20 team unless Addazio pulls an Addazio or two between now and then. I won’t be surprised if it’s a pick em game or a 3 point spread.

We lose because we let Dillon run wild. We lose because we overlook them because they're BC.

This is a game we should win going away, just need to take care of business.

You lost me at solid D... we win because we're the better team, they're coached by Addazio, and teams have been running the ball very well against their defense. We won't have to rely on Malik and if we do, it's going to because they'll be stacking the box and throwing should be easy or just let us run down their throat. We both have off weeks to prepare for the game and honestly I trust Richt with 2 weeks over a mediocre opponent than I do Addazio.

They win because AJ Dillon takes over and/or we can't run the ball effectively in a 7 man box or we can't throw effectively in an 8 man box.. whichever look we get.

If we lose, it’ll be very reminiscent of the Pitt game. They’ll be playing at a level ten and we’ll be at a level 5. And they’ll beat us up in the trenches. If Malik can’t hit the open receivers it’ll be a wrap just like Pitt.
