At LSU, the head coach and his staff, the AD, and the admin are all singing off the same sheet of music and obviously are focused on winning a championship and doing all the right things to make that happen. They identified their main problem from last year which was the offense and the inconsistent play of their QB, so what did they do ?

LSU hired Joe Brady from the New Orleans Saints to be their passing game coordinator and work with their QB and receivers. Look at the results.
Burrows, their QB, has already set an LSU single season record for TD passes and the season is only half over. The LSU offense is #3 in the nation averaging over 530 yards per game and LSU is ranked #2 in the polls

Meanwhile, look at the Cluster**** Barnum & Bailey ClownShow Corching Circus at Miami. What a difference eh boys and girls ?

Can you imagine Miami fans giving this man more than 87 minutes to build a program?!?

Let's be patient. I'm sure Manny can replace Barry, Patke, Stroud, and Stubbs with any number of local HS coaches.

You want to tell me how many years you conveniently forgot that Coach O lost to Alabama because he tried to out smash mouth them?

Here's a hint: it's way longer than 7 games.

The last 4 coaches at Miami were allowed to run the program into the ground. Each had glaring weaknesses that were allowed to remain unfixed season after season.

The issue today isn’t what manny has done this year. The issue is that the administration allows these coaches to languish year after year, with no oversight or accountability.

Manny is well down the same path. We know where this ends up. So do you.

You can’t say that after 7 games, period. End of story. You may think, I may think. You don’t know. Neither do I. That’s why you don’t fire coaches after 7 games, insane scandal not withstanding. Period.

Yes. We know. This is how Miami operates. This is how our AD operates.

Competent athletic departments do not fire a HC after 7 games, and that’s not what I’m suggesting. However, competent ADs do not allow Dnofrio to be the DC for 5 years. Tbey don’t allow Mark Richt to be the OC for 3 years. Etc, etc, etc

While at OSU, they reload with stud coaching staffs.
- Need a Dline coach - they pluck Larry Johnson from Penn State. DB coach? Alex Grinch from Wazzu (who's now DC in Oklahoma)
- Need an OC - go get a former HC in Kevin Wilson.
- Meyer leaves and Day becomes HC - need a new QB coach/passing game coordinator? Oh just grab Mich Yurcich from Okie State.
- They took Mattison and Al Washington from Michigan, Tony Alford from ND. They had Schiano there for a while The list goes on and on.
