Can someone explain the point of these plays? Kaaya has kept the ball exactly Zero times. This year. He isn't cam Newton obviously but the defense doesn't even bite at all. Even as slow as he is, he could run for 5yards. There was one play on Saturday were I. Think he could have gone for 25. The DE crashed so hard there was no odd on that side of the field. I mean that is the point right, to. Keep the DE from. Crashing down allowing him to be unblocked but not in on the play giving the. OL an advantage. I mentioned this elsewhere, Kaaya isnt slower than nick foles and he would keep 4-5 times a game and get yards. Meanwhile we never run and the play gets no. Yards

I like it as a run/pass option (I remember him pulling it at the last second then throwing a quick slant for a first down). Not sure if these are the exact same design as the read plays you refer to. I tend to agree with you though, especially on the half-assed ones where Kaaya's "read" is made with a back that is nowhere near him and it looks like the crappiest play-action ever.
 
It's a run pass option where he can hit the slant or another short intermediate route if it's open.

Are you saying u don't see the play where Kaaya puts the ball in the rbs chest and then fakes the keep the other way? .im.not saying we run read option, I am. Saying that we have the illusion of running that garbage with a qb that will never keep. It would akin to having Peyton Manning run that garbage. . It's nonsense. Do you understand now?
 
the read option pass is fine but i don't want to see that run option run fake pass crap ever again. horribly executed bc we obviously have the wrong personnel to run that.
 
Guysm, it's a tricky play and makes the other team prepare for our running quarterback. Remember, FSU was worried Kaaya would beat them with his feet, guysm.
 
honestly they should give Rosier maybe 3 plays a game in short yardage to run that. I think its a wrinkle i would do...i mean we brought him in once...it was terrible...but i would run it 3 times a game..

i got 5 dollars on Gall being faster than Kaaya.....

He even run like Felicia on friday.

i dont like the wrinkles...but it gives rosier a chance to get in game experience just in case of need....imo

- Or maybe the kid that they got from carol city who actually ran the read option in high school...they could use as a way to get him some touches.....Choc Gray.

our short yardage game is f"n terrible as is.....from the play call to the blocking scheme in it...we have gall pulling and other guards zone blocking and getting completely blown up.....but it is what it is lu.

DeMarco Murray agrees with you. Chip finally got the m'f'in message and stuck two TEs in the game in the second half, and the Eagles mauled the Giants with ease after that.

Amen, Lu. Kid is classic Miami QB. Smart, tall, lean and awkward pocket passer. Someone between Bernie and Ken, I would say. Miami run game works much better under center. Give Brad a real play action choice. He is perfect QB for it.
 
Running the read option only works if your qb can run. Kayaa can't so I have no idea why we do it
