Throwing a lot of money at RB's is crazy....you really can find 3 stars who in the right offense can serve the same purpose. But part of the game now is winning these battles so you win others later.

Its like the NFL...unless a truly generational talent comes along if you draft a back in the first round you wasted a pick

Ehhh...Not so much in college. RB are still more impactful in cfb. Now can you still find a good 3-star of course. But it's not like the NFL where their importance has decreased overall.

Yup they make more of a difference in college. The risk is the question of durability, as they go from 80 yard untouched touchdowns every Friday night to 15 carries between the tackles.

We have very limited OVs left (yes there is a cap) so anyone coming on an OV is seriously wanted by the staff and the staff believes is serious about UM.
