The problem is not your opinion. It is how you stated it like a hard fact a year before signing day. When people do that, they are looked at as if they are trying to irritate other posters who have a different opinion. The only sure thing in recruiting, as most old timers will tell you, there is nothing sure in recruiting. Until there is a signature on the dotted line. Look no further than Griffin.

His H.S. is in the central valley, just east of the bay area. Oakley, Ca. It's definitely not USC territory,

Is it anybody's territory? Or do the kids have no particular preferences? I know we've gotten a few from the east bay, the QBs, for example. We got the TE from Sacramento City College, but he was overshadowed by Shockey. We got a DL from San Francisco who transferred to UCLA and ended up starting.
