Rayshawn Jenkins goin in…

He's tempering his cognitive dissonance by displacing his frustration onto the fans who have no actual impact on the team or game day results or his future prospects. As others have pointed out, he's been programmed essentially to buy in, and allowing himself to experience discontent with this bull**** process/pillars/wedefense/corporate brainwash speak would simply mean it's all been for naught.

The truth is, it probably has all been for naught and the guy is likely to have to be broken down and built back up to play the safety in any effective manner at the next level. He'll come around in retrospect but can't allow it consciously right now.

It's not his fault honestly. All he knows is Al Golden as a HC and losing. Al is a psychology major he knows how to control these guys minds. If jenkins played 3 years at Alabama or FSU or whatever then came to Miami and experienced this, after having a "win or nothing" culture, he would understand how bad this **** sucks.

Basically, if losing is all you know, you can't expect these guys to want to win. They need to luck into an 11 win season or something or get a coach that expects to win to make them hungry to win again and change this penn state 9-10 wins is good enough culture.
 
Alabama and ohio taint have bandwagon fans. We have sucked for over a decade. I mean sucked!!!

After that play in the first quarter, he might should just focus on his effort on game day.

I still can't bring myself to blame the players. I hope they get fired up and beat FSU! I don't think it can happen with Folden but would be pleased if they do!This AD and Staff still has to go!
 
and for the record, bandwagon fans? maybe an alabama player can make that case. You cant make that claim when we have sucked for a decade
 
Channing Crowder has talked about this on radio. The coaches brain wash kids into thinking they are right and the players are wrong. He will figure it out once we get a real coach and win with the same players.

I'm going to chalk this kids case up in the " I didn't know better" category.

Or because all this talk about playing the most productive safeties didn't include him because of that missed tackle. LOL that would for sure be something Golden would do. They guy that has 3 interceptions gets benched and Crawford continues to start because he is a "leader".
 
If we can talk **** he has every right to fire back, and honestly what do you expect players to do? They can't say anything negative or they won't play and they HAVE to be frustrated.

That said, how anyone could think there are any bandwagon fans left for this team is beyond me. That's just delusional.
 
I can admire that kind of loyalty, doesn't make him right though. I actually feel bad for each and every player on the team. They deserve better than golden.
 
He's got the right mindset to think they can come back next week and win but too bad this staff will fail him again.

Whoever the new coach is will have a tough time changing the mindset of this team.I can see a ton of current players either quitting and transfering or getting kicked out.
 
Give the kid a break. He's trying to keep his team together. It's called leadership.
