One - she married the contract. Two - this new NFL policy will be very interesting - if you are an NFL team and you know there are rumors about a certain player that might have hit a girlfriend - do you sign them or move on

As a Husband of 15 + years, father of a daughter, former college athlete, Life long Canes fan, and professional with experience working with men who have assaulted women, I am truly ashamed that I root for the same team as some of you. I am all for talking **** and goofing around but this is embarrassing. Defending that piece ****. While there is such a thing as mutual combatants, look at this video, that POS expressed no ***king concern for what he did. None and for some of you who are defending or endorsing his actions, I hope you do not have daughters or sisters.

God have mercy to anyone who ever would dare doing anything remotely similar to my daughter or sisters..I got my Hungarian AMD-65 to hand down justice. No waiting for TMZ, the legal system, or some employer for "punishment". Bytch gonna pay a high price. Leaking in a ditch

Also I grew up with 5 sisters so I know a thing or 2 about fighting girls and i never had to throw a real punch it was pretty easy to bob and weave and just take them down or bear hug them you can even throw them in a submission hold if you're fight game is so weak that you feel the need to throw a real punch at a woman then I feel bad for your sorry ***.
 
If that was my daughter or sister in that video, the question wouldn't be whether Ray would ever play again but rather would Ray ever walk again.

how can you tell what emotion was expressed it was a short grainy footage capture with no sound? honestly after knocking her out there is nothing he could do to make that situation better short of having time travel ability. he drags her unconcious body out the elevator he looks callous and has no remorse, if he decides to leave her unconscious in the elevator he looks bad there too. best policy is for both parties to not hit each other, i hope that is what all men teach their children boys and girls do not hit anybody regardless.

as for your gun threat i wouldnt advise it, more than likely you'll end up in prison for life and that same female who's honor you tried to protect will be right back with the abuser and probably marry him like this chick did. I had a buddy that had a female family member that was abused and a few of the male family members decided to take matters in their own hands......same thing happened they beat his *** and she went right back to him.

there is a difference. BIG difference between a scuffle and knocking out a girl who was posing no threat to you. almost every guy had a girl ****ed at them and tried to slap or whatever it is they try to do when they are drunk and ****ed.. but not everyone in that physical shape takes an open swing at their jaw.

change does not happen until it effects the bottom line (MONEY!)

She realized it was her fault for charging at him like a rhino and swinging on him. Otherwise, she wouldn't have married him. Looked like he was back pedaling, side stepped her, pushed her face away and she fell and hit her head. Rice is the victim here.

Everyone wants to be the knight in shining armor and rescue chicks, but, again, I'll ask everyone if she's such a victim and felt threatened then why did she may him after she attacked him and fell down? She must not feel like she needs the NFL to rescue her if she married the dude.

100% agree...we dont have context here...regardless **** was weak on his part. As for the consequences to this POS... Believe me, I am a responsible gun owner who very much values his freedom and right to bear arms. I do not condone the taking of a life but his *** would be dealt with with EXTREME prejudice.

Regarding her marriage or a women electing to stay with an abuser, situations are more complex than what we see. In fact the physical abuse is just the tip of the iceberg many times. Most victims are able to get over the physical abuse...the psychological abuse is another matter. Wont go into specifics but I have seen cases were the psychological abuse is much more destructive long term. Every situation is different and we can only speculate what caused this specific situation. At the end of the day, he is a POS for what he did and should at the very least get his *** drug and knocked out.
 
Anybody read the statement from his wife? THIS ISN'T ABOUT YOU! This is about every woman in an abusive relationship!
