Ray Lewis, Is he the greatest hurricane of all time?

Are you guys really gonna play this stupid *** game? Looking forward to 39 pages of bashing Canes that I don't think are quite as awesome as other Canes.

Don't read, but we can always go back to tracking the former Hurricane that's now a tropical depression that cancelled my work today and tomorrow and let my kid out of school 2 hours early today.

It's the playmaker---it's #47 , no doubt. When you think about Cane Football and what makes Miami "MIAMI" you think about #47

Played in two National Title games
Won a National Title
Played on the 1986 team might be the best team to have not won it all
3 super bowl titles
NFL HOF
College HOF
1st Round Draft Pick
Perhaps the biggest Ambassador for the program of all the former players

Even if you take NFL career out, I'm still going #47

It's hard to argue with that. He's up there.

He's my favorite hurricane

Sorry, I don't know how to post videos or embed tweets

You can make an argument that Bernie Kosar was the best player at UM.
He wins the first national championship for UM and he was arguably even better in 1984
despite not winning as many games.

And, no, I don't count what they (UM players) did in the NFL in this kind of discussion
even though he did OK and I hope all of our guys do well make a bunch of money.

Ted Hendricks sacked Spurrier either 7 or 8 times the weekend after Spurrier won the Heisman. End of discussion.

Too many positions and too many decades to name a best overall. I do however like fielding an all-time starting lineup for our Canes.

No, he's not

as the best 'canes defensive player ever?

yep, he's up there .... but ted hendricks would have something to say about who is the "best ever"

Ted Hendricks changed the way defenses in NFL played from 4-3 to 3-4 with the stork creating havoc. Don't really know who the best Hurricane defensive player is but if it is just at the U or pro career as well,my answers would be different. Sean Taylor has to be in the discussion as well.
No way to really know is there?
