5 Star DT Green (#3 DT in country) will officially be taking an OV to Miami for when they play FSU. If we could get a commit from this man, it would be giant. Let's beat some Nole ***, go canes!

Golden and co need to make this kid a priority. I'd give up a pinki toe for this mother******. We need to win the FSU game. It will help our recruiting leaps and bounds.

Hopefully this kid is from Compton or watts and his parents want him as far away as possible from la to escape the blood/crip gangbangin lifestyle. USC is smack dab in the middle of south central......cuz.

Rasheem Green flew across the country for an official visit to Miami this past weekend and the Gardena (Calif.) Serra prospect is happy he did it.

Green said he enjoyed his visit to Miami last weekend.
The five-star defensive lineman doesn't necessarily know where the Hurricanes stand in his recruitment because he has other trips planned for later in his recruitment but he was definitely impressed especially with how Miami played against Florida State.

"I got to see the campus, see the game and hang out with a couple of the players," Green said. "It was a fun trip.

"I thought they were going to win. They played great and it was a fun game to watch. They're great coaches. They're fun to be around. They're really smart coaches which is really awesome."

Green, rated as the third-best defensive end and the No. 19 prospect in the 2015 class by Rivals.com, injured his right knee recently and will be sidelined for the remainder of his high school career.

But the Miami coaches made it clear they're still highly interested in him and that meant a lot to Green, the fourth-best recruit in the California state rankings.

"They still want me even though I got hurt," Green said. "They said that shows how much of a priority I am to them and how much they want me which is great.

"They're pretty high on my list. I was pretty amazed by the visit. I like the school and I like the atmosphere down there. It's a fun place to be."

Other visits could be difficult at the least in the near term. Green planned to visit Arizona State this weekend with five-star teammate John Houston but because of surgery this week his mobility will be limited.

"It might be tough because I'm having surgery this week," Green said. "I was going to go to Arizona State but I guess I can't go to that one anymore because my surgery is on Thursday. I'll just have to see."

USC, UCLA, Stanford and Oregon are four other programs under serious consideration by Green but others could emerge as well.
