Got it so you don’t follow recruiting. Nothing wrong with that. There’s a bunch of guys on here who have a ton of post who rarely ever visit the recruiting board, so just know before you got big mads it wasn’t an insult, it was a joke because it was pretty clear you hadn’t followed this closely. Again nothing wrong with that.

I’m no expert and have never claimed to be but I was one of this kid’s biggest proponent on this board. Now, I don’t have the inside details but there are reputable insiders here who do and know that this is just more than him making one bad decision. His entire recruitment has been filed with red flags, even before he committed to us, that myself and others just choose to overlook.

Now even after signing his NLI it continues. Not bad mouthing him, I just think for his sake he’s better served wiping the slate clean and figuring out his future somewhere else. It’s not worth the risk and it’s time for us to move on.

It will be interesting to see where he lands. Correct me if Im wrong but national signing day (not early signing day) is the first Wednesday in February, yes? Given that, signing day is February 1st. That's 2.5 weeks away. That tells me his best chance will be with a school that he's already done an OV at. That list is:

UF
UM
LSU
Ole Miss
LSU


Excluding UF and (likely) UM, that leaves LSU, Ole Miss and TAMU.

LSU signed a 4 star QB from Louisiana.
Ole Miss has not signed a QB to the 2023 class.
TAMU signed a low 4 star QB from Tennessee.
