Rashad Fenton and Aubrey Hill

Not even close.

That was Joker. Aubrey doesn't have a personal vendetta against Miami.

Aubrey worked with Golden, Paul Williams and Dnofrio.

If you think he has nice things to say about those guys....you are a ******.

if thats the case, why was fenton trying to commit early on?

but im sure it is hills fault.

has nothing to do with miami offering him, then telling him he has no offer, and then waiting until less than 2 weeks before signing day to show interest in him

People dont get it when a kid is from down the street he feels like you should know him, much different than being states away and a winning program tells you how blown away they were from your film.

Hill left for Florida in December 2010
Yep Al told him.he had a spot still on the staff, but he decided to go to his Alma Mater at Florida....

Then why is UM having such a hard time getting Rashad Fenton to commit, you would think Hill would deliver the kid in a similar fashion as Trayone Gray.

Go Canes

No clue if the Hill info is accurate, but it's flat out incredible how many coaches/hangers-on in South Florida seem to absolutely have issue with Golden/Miami.

We've had rumors or evidence of clashes with Walsh, Rumph, Ice (Kirkland/Thomas), the whole University staff, Dwyer (who to be fair just seems to never send kids to Miami with or without Al), Champagnat, Luke, Hill...

Now, without a doubt there are some scumbags in that list (I mean REAL scumbags), but for a guy who came down here puffing out his chest about the roster not looking right with Miami kids not coming here, it sure seems like he's done a horrendous job of bridging the gap.

Again... I think this problem goes both ways as the So Florida landscape seems as shady as anything this side of AAU basketball, but Golden sure doesn't seem to have the answer. We have the worst "hometown advantage" in all of college football right now.

As long as Al feels justified with how he and his staff recruits kids like they are a big time successful program he will always have problems.
