Don't wish ill on anyone but i have NEVER been a Kirby fan. Slow and uninstinctive. Hope he is ok. Also hope he never sees the field again.

Sad that this staff undervalues its talents. All here on this board was clamoring for J Young...but Golden and staff...u just have to syh to their decisions here.

It is such a tough loss and you feel so bad for Kirby. That being said, I believe he is one of those kids that will still be a big leader on the sidelines and in meetings. Juwon had a chance to come in and he was inspired and I'll bet he wanted to pick it up for the captain of the D. Football is a funny sport....kids get their chances at the weirdest time due to freak injuries, etc. Through all the adversity this team has had at LB, it has forced the coaches to move some people around and kids rise to the occasion. Chad Thomas and Quan are beasts right now and they will have a huge impact moving forward.
