We've done this in the past. It's always interesting to see how we rank the signees vs. how they ended up turning out. This is how I rank the class in terms of how they will finish their careers:

Not going to rank them but it's clear we brought in another quality class to stack on 2016. Got truly some elite talent mixed with some very good football players

Jon Ford just sounds like a first round monster DT. That's an NFL name right there.

He might be a 4 yr starter for us, which would be pretty impactful.

I am surprised you have Dean so low though. He's got a easy path to being an instant impact guy. And as long as he can tackle well, I think he's our starter opposite Young.

I like Dean a lot & I never said he wouldn't be a starter, in fact I believe he will...

I know you didn't say he wouldn't be a starter, but having Wilder and Jennings above him seems crazy to me. Those two wont be able to do much if anything the next 2 years. And if Dean can step up he might be the most important addition on defense next yr.

1. Navaughn Donaldson
2. DJ Johnson
3. Jeff Thomas
4. Cade Weldon - Future starting QB here if we have any chance on taking a step to being better
5. This is where it gets dicey for me. 1 of these 3 kids fall into this position
Trajan Bandy, Garvin or Dean

Then it is anyones guess. depends if anyone steps forward and exceeds my expectations.

my only concern is not getting more than one DT. At least two or three every year just like OL

1. Perry
2. Donaldson
3. Johnson
4. Thomas
5. Garvin
6. Dallas
7. Ford
8. Njoku
9. Carter
10. Harley
11. Dean
12. Herbert
13. Bandy
14. Steed
15. Hillery
16. Burns
17. Wilder
18. Smith
19. Gaynor
20. Dykstra
21. Polendy
22. Weldon
23. Feagles
24. Jennings

Best part of the class is the depth of talent. Unlike Golden's and of Shannon's classes, the bottom half of this class is still very solid. My only ? is Jennings.

something about a 4.4 LB coming in around 220 who has the frame to add 30 pnds on . With this style D i think i will move him in my top 3. Than Dean tall and fast if he stays the two years to get developed will be a early draft pick. Gavin is my other one
