Randy Shannon comments

It would make more sense if Randy Shannon said, "Timeouts are for burning, and that's the truth." Or, "Big guys don't fumble, and that's the truth." Or, "Kirby Freeman is our starting quarterback, and that's the truth."

I couldn't care less about what the man considers truth.

Real Talk tho... I thought Richard Gordon returning kicks was the funniest issh I ever seen, until I seen our 330 pound NT Porter trying to cover a scat back on a wheel route.

I am shocked people still pay Randy to coach.

There is hope for Al after he gets axed here.

University of Miami did him wrong. Fired him then gave the more incompetent follow up coach an extension. Anecdotal as it may be, he may have been scapegoated for the NCAA mess that he tried to warn others about. Lastly, school tried to withhold money that was contractually his.

He gave many years of his life to the canes. He sucked as a HC but he's s cane through and through.

Sucked as a HC, but Miami did him wrong. Ok.

What happened to Curtis Porter? He was supposed to be the mainstay of our defense... As for Gordon it was odd seeing him return kicks but he wasn't bad... Just average... I think he was one of our safest return men that year... He averaged like 20 yards a return which is decent not spectacular... I recall us fumbling and muffing a lot on special teams that year and he was one of the few that didn't drop the ball... He caught returns better than passes... That being said, he was a freak athlete... Might be faster than all of our wide outs except one or two...

Yeah he ran a 4.5 surprisingly but he is not faster than coley, waters, Lewis or berrios... Maybe langham and Brady.

It was nice to see Berrios on all those delay routes last year. They really put him in a position to ball out.

I don't think Lewis was ever a burner... But yea I know it's documented that Herbs, Berrios and Coley were 4.4 guys... I still don't believe the 4.4 from Herb or Berrios... I think both are extremely quicker than fast... I wouldn't be surprised if both of them ran in the 4.5 range... That being said, I'm really down on our team speed.

Not really, coley for sure has great game breaking speed and herb waters has more than enough IMO. Lewis and berrios are very capable. Yearby will be quicker than fast but he undoubtedly hits the whole faster than Duke Johnson. Gus Edwards is very fast for his size
