He has a lot of DB coach experience. Don't think he'd jump at a position coach position though. But the DB experience plus the HC experience I could see translating to a coordinator position, and probably one you can just let him run that whole side with little worry with organizational issues.

More knowledge on this board than what people think..He went from career back up Qb to GA to asst coach and the older guys on the team actually referred to him as " skid mark randy" I was young and impressionable in those days and the seniors would tell stories that randy would tell you " you need ankle taped drop your pants" by far the worst coach I ever played for! Made a name for himself by being o'leary's boop boy back in the day! Another piece of ****...we only had one real coach on the team at that was coach Tressell.
