Who proclaimed him the mayor of anything? I never liked the dude. And Luther slap fighting with Shapiro... that's some funny stuff. Both jock sniffers, needing real men to play a game to give their lives meaning.

Diaz improved the defense immediately when he took over. Stop with your excuses.

Our 2010 defense was legit despite having mediocre talent.
We were ranked top-5 in the nation in TFL's, sacks, pass defense, pass efficiency, etc.
#1 in TFL's
#3 in pass defense
Top-20 in 3rd down defense

And this was with talent like Brandon Harris, DVD, Ryan Hill, etc.

Did you even read what you typed? Of course we blamed him for his boneheaded plays in 02 and beyond. We would have blamed him in 01 as well, but the amount of talent he had masked his flaws.

Randys defenses where GARBAGE at UF and at UCF he is giving up 40 points to teams like Temple.

Manny Diaz first year he was a nominee for the Broyles award for the top assistant of college football. Reason being he took a 69th ranked defense he inherited to a 20th ranked defense.
SHANNON on the other hand took a #94 ranked UCF defense to being ranked #86th.

So GTFOH with your nonsense.
