Random Observations on the Va Tech Game

LOVED seeing Brown take snaps as a runner in short yardage situations. The Saints use Taysom Hill effectively like this even when the defense knows he's probably not going to throw the ball, and it still works; just occasionally toss in a pass attempt from him to keep the defense honest and this package will continue to pay dividends.

You really believe that ****, idiot??

Cracking Up Lol GIF
The only thing worse than a moron is a moron who doesn't know he's a moron.

It’s particularly impressive given how briefly he has been in South Florida. Young just orally committed the Hurricanes in June and was one of the last players on the team to enroll in school. He wasn’t with the Hurricanes for spring practices or summer workouts and still doesn’t have a full grasp of the playbook. “You might as well fly by in a helicopter and jump out right before camp, and start training and start getting ready to play football,” Cristobal said. “He just goes.”

Weirdo, that bro offense isn’t that complicated to grasp. Only dumbos like you believe everything you read. How many more players should be playing, but are on the sideline because of incompetent coaches? I’m sure you can’t comprehend that, clown.

You really are this dumb aren't you?

Young got into school practically as the season was beginning and on top of that was slowed by an injury and not being in game shape.

You are the typical dip**** that runs their mouth w/o having any facts or knowledge and then WHEN CLEAR EVIDENCE IS PRESENTED says hilarious stuff like "you actually believe the 10 articles written?".

Just take your L and move on.

A win is a win, 1-1 in ACC play. Hard to be upset at that. Few takeaways:

Glad to see the deep shots...we start hitting those and we'll be dangerous on OFF.

Encouraging to see talented Freshman being given opportunities. Jacurri Brown package is going to be DANGEROUS....and also gives incentive for him to stick around 3-4 years.

Avantae is going to be a playmaker...he just has to play within the system...he almost gave up a big play TD by taking a bad angle in coverage. Coaches are going to earn their $$$ keeping him under control and also allowing him to play with that edge that makes him an elite player.

Loved seeing Malik Curtis get sneaked in on a punt return...didn’t get to return it but good to see that what we all saw on his HS film must be translating to the Practice field enough for coaches to give him an opportunity.

Impressed that Mario isn't set in his ways when he sees the running game not working....imo the Jacurri Brown 3rd and short package is a reflection of a coaching staff being open minded and willing to do whatever it takes to win....you know they had planned to redshirt him but playing him now is absolutely the best option for the 2022 team and nice to see the coaches do what it takes. Also keeps Jacurri engaged as I'm sure that package might grow, especially if we continue to struggle to score TDs in the redzone.

Hope that Mallory is okay after that shot to his head/neck area. He's really playing some big-time football. Going to need both him and Skinner if we're going to make a run at the Coastal this year.

On to Duke...

With the RB injuries, they might need to run more wildcat with Jacurri, maybe even Brashard Smith, with some PA passes thrown in for Brown to catch people sleeping, like the option teams do. Brown throws a pretty deep ball.

Agree with a lot of what u said, good analysis. Colbie young is our WR1. Mesidor was a steal in the portal. Mesidor and Taylor can create havoc up front. Finally OC Gattis has adjusted to our offensive strengths. We look in rhythm. He is putting Van Dyke in a position to succeed. Thank god. Why can’t we realize or see these things after 1 game? I would like to know what they see in practice that we don’t see! Is frustrating. In regards to the penalties, I still see Manolo Díaz type players. That virus, that cancer that he talked about when he was coaching here. Lazy tackling, poor angles, and no accountability. Hang in there guys! Is going to take Mario some time. He has to built his own culture here. I saw Oregon games last year. His players were tested and always stayed composed! Overall, winning solves everything. So getting this win, even though it was ugly is a positive step forward. Let the kids built from this W. Go CANES!

Retarded *** keyboard warrior who never played ****. STFU and keep reading your books, articles, etc.

The bad/almost ugly

TVD radar lock on Young in the second half.

I really would love to see the all-22 of our offense coming out after halftime.

In the 1st half TVd was reading the field and finding the open man. Hitting back should throws.

In the second half, it seemed like he was predetermining he’d throw to young no matter what.

I was at the game and very close to the field. TVD was locked on to receivers and didn't look like he was going through progressions in the 2nd half.
