Anybody else think that we set up OV like this for intel to find out what other schools are saying to these kids more so than actually having a chance for their commitment.

For example this kid also has an OV to auburn which happens to high on McCloud, so if they are telling both of these kids they are their number one option at LB, UM can alert the kids.

Following Rahshaun Smith's de-commitment from Clemson, who's in line to receive an official visit from the four-star linebacker?

Star Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy linebacker/defensive end, Rahshaun Smith, went to Twitter and announced his de-commitment from the Clemson Tigers on Thursday afternoon. Despite removing himself from Dabo Swinney's 2016 recruiting class, the 6-foot-2, 239-pound four-star prospect remains very high on the Tigers and will take an official visit at a date to be determined.
When Scout spoke with Smith at IMG Academy's Media Day yesterday afternoon, he mentioned Miami, Georgia and LSU as schools that will receive an official visit at some point in the fall. Clemson's not in favor of their commits taking official visits to additional schools, so Smith decided to do what's best for him and reopened his recruitment. Maryland is the home state school and one to keep a very close eye on as well.

Smith plays sideline to sideline and hits like a ton of bricks. He's an instinctive player who lines up at linebacker at the prep level, but could eventually find a home at defensive end before it's all said and done. The well-rounded linebacker is fluid in space and does a good job of breaking on the ball in pass coverage as well.
Scout Florida Recruiting Analyst, Corey Bender, talks about the big news out of the Sunshine State with Taryn Winter Brill of Scout Now.
