I love how yall keep bringing up the coastal simply because Richt won it last year. If the coastal is so horrible then Richt should win it every year shouldn't he?

Why can't Richt win the ****ty coastal this year with pretty much the team from last year, going up against the SAME opponents from last year ? Either we've regressed in year 3 or last year was a fluke?

WTF are you talking about? I am saying that number 1 ranking is bull**** and was inflated due to signing so many guys.

You were trying to make a point that Richt wasn't left with as much talent as Randy had because Randy landed the number 1 class. However, that class wasn't that talented it was just very large.

And in case you actually do not know. Yes the number 1 class ranking does go up the more players you sign. So if you sign 50 3 stars you can have a higher rated class than someone with 18 5 stars. However, the class with 18 5 stars is obviously going to be more elite. That is why you need to look at the average player ranking instead of just the class ranking.

So how did USC only have 18 commits last season but have a higher ranking than Baga
How did Clemson only have 17 commits but had better than Miami

Are you really not able to comprehend how the rankings are calculated? Every player gets a score based off of their ranking. So Lorenzo Lingard may be worth 40 points. A low 3 star may be worth 15 points. They add up all of these players scores to get the class rankings.

If you have 32 guys vs everyone else only signing 26 guys you are going to have a highly ranked class.

USC only signed 4 less kids than Bama, but had 2 more 5 stars that is why the class is higher.
