Speak Out Lost Angeles GIF by LA vs. Hate

If u ever want to stop this take the Morgan Freeman stance. Just stop talking about it, u cant change hate it is what it is. Let those type of people just walk around miserable

So talking about racism somehow extends it? Never seen, heard, or read of such a hypothesis. It is the equivalent of saying the longer we focus on cancer, the longer it will be with us. The great strides made against cancer came because we focused on it with laser-like precision. Racism is a cancer that infects the American Republic, it has been with us since the founding of the Country. The Country spent the first 150 years of its existence ignoring it, that did not work well at all. So I would be interested in what Morgan relied upon to draw such a conclusion that ignoring racism makes it disappear.

Yea but when people talk about cancer emotions are low and everyone's not fighting about it. Just look at human beings as human beings and all that other sh goes over everyone's head. U can't stop hate and it isn't anyone's job to see through someone's mind to figure out if they hate someone or something. That's between that person and that person alone. There's whites that are racist blacks that are racist Asians Latinos etc. They come in all shapes and sizes and backgrounds. And that's on them f em is what I say and that's that. And everyone has their own opinion on it so it's something that won't go away obviously, it's something that will destroy groups of people in the future and that's sad either way.

I think it would benefit most of the country to serve 2 years after high school. The best part of the military is getting to go through bs with people from all over the country that look and act different. Everyone’s dressed the same so you don’t gravitate towards people that dress and act like you. Guys like this d-bag have probably stayed in their small town with small minded like people his whole life.
That's just it. Even though Warner Robins (the International City, as it's known), is a small town in central Georgia, it's pretty diverse because of the presence of the military base (RAFB). You are always around different people. In that aspect, it sometimes feels like a much larger city. I've had kids on my athletic teams from all over the world. This *** hat just chooses to segregate himself with "his own kind" and be a racist piece of ****..... well... that is, until it's time to make money off of the black kids and their parents. I agree with what you're saying about the serving 2 years. It would make a huge difference. I'll leave with this thought. it ain't the size of the town that makes one a racist, bigoted POS...... it's the size of one's mind.

While I don't disagree with you in principle, compulsory service only works effectively paired with NCO/Officer authority to use wall-to-wall counseling as a motivation tool.

Without it, you get a bunch of "I don't wanna be here panzies" whonare just toxic.

Think of the *** pain with your worst Airman now, then x10,000

Not to defend them, as I think Dabo is a PoS and Saban deserves everything bad, but if a video comes out about racist remarks in 2023, then does that mean Saban is a racist supporter for having him at practice in 2022? Forgive me, I just dont see the correlation. Now, if after this video is out, Saban and Dabo continue to associate with the guy, then yeah, that speaks to their character. This thread title runs something similar to a Miami transfer getting arrested at a new school and the headline reads "Miami grad arrested for <insert crime>".
I agree with this post.

Again, the advances made in Civil Rights & race relations in this Country, occurred because people stood up and spoke out. I can think of no situation involving racism that was made better by not highlighting racism. The Montgomery Bus Boycott highlighted racism, Bloody Sunday highlighted racism, never seen it work in the reverse. Racists are like fungus, they don’t like light.

The most racist people I've encountered have been from up North.
And I've had black players of mine who can co-sign that.

As a white/Italian guy who partakes in the "urban" culture (i.e. custom cars for example) I've heard way more derogatory remarks (about my own preferences) from Northern people. Matter of fact, we just cruised together last month and heard some bullsh!t from the out-of-towners.
Just my personal experience.

The thing is...Northern states are more liberal...and liberals are low-key and slick about their racism. Southerners are not.

I don't know what Southern areas yall been to, but when I'm in the country I see blacks/whites vibin' together.
They all like the same ****...football, soul food and Chevrolets. LOL
I just went to a soul food restaurant in Plant City and saw everybody mixin' it up.

I've been all over the state, and ironically the most racist parts of Florida are the transient cities that are full of Northerners. LOL
Alright alright alright, calm the F down. What festers racism is segregation and opportunity (academic, social services, financial, etc). If the demographics are clearly segregated in a town, then there's some systemic racism. Is Miami or these "other parts of Florida with non-Northerners" fully integrated? Cause if not, then it's just people "being nice"... Put your money where your mouth is. I see you talking sh** about Northerns, which I take as code for NY: come to majority of neighborhoods of Brooklyn and although not perfect, you see integration of many races in the same residences, place of work, commuting. It's not a lot, but I wager a **** of a lot better than nOrTheRn Fl wits No PeOPleS FrOm Da NoRf

I know they suck hate sucks it is what it is.

Strange bump. Don't ever change CIS.

Indeed. Lot of individuals on this board love to highlight and focus on negative ****. Surprised this thread has lasted this long on this forum. Should have been moved to the Off-Topic Board or The Town Hall board by now.

Racism is nothing new and isn’t going anywhere Thanks to the toilet known as social media. The brain washing of todays youth is way overboard. Get on with life get over it too many pussies out there.

I agree with this post.

And while I concur, here's my one caveat: I am dubious that a person who speaks like this in 2023, hasn't also made similar comments within earshot of people in 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019 .... etc. etc.
