Dudes like this are 100% talking about this kind of stuff around Dabo. You don't think he knows the kind of people that are boosters for his program? Dabo doesn't give a **** as long as they are steering kids his way or tossing money into the ring. There's racists everywhere for sure, including the north. An overwhelming majority of the time you see overt racist things like this, it's usually down south in my own experience.I'm 100% saying these dudes aren't talking like this in front of Dabo. Period.
As for southern white dudes, I'll agree to disagree. Look to the North my man.
Opposite for me with the underlined. I'm not saying he is completely ignorant to it but I don't think he'd stand there and listen to anything approaching this level without speaking up or leaving. Could be wrong. Hope not. This is a two way street as well. It's all ugly.Dudes like this are 100% talking about this kind of stuff around Dabo. Brother you're from Boston and are telling me you don't hear racism...After being in the coaching circles up north, I’m not really surprised. We definitely don’t have racism like that or really at all…at least I haven’t heard it, but the coaching ranks up here are littered with egotistical, better than you type of dudes. It’s really really really difficult to find genuine good men in the high school coaching ranks. Usually the ones that are good men don’t become head coaches or bounce up a level.
I’ve seen and heard people like this in/from the south and north. I’m not sure if one group has a higher prevalence though personally I’ve seen it more in the south but I’ve also lived in the south more than the north.I'm 100% saying these dudes aren't talking like this in front of Dabo. Period.

I should have just said this. FactsThere’s good and bad everywhere.
Look to the North??...there's racism everywhere. But there is wayyyy more racism in the South than the North. And has been for 150yrs. To say otherwise is just being disingenuous.I'm 100% saying these dudes aren't talking like this in front of Dabo. Period.

Spare me the history lesson. We're talking about 2023... and I disagree, from my own experience. And has been for 150yrs.
Boston definitely has some deep seated racism going on. It's not as bad as it's made to be though as it is really a very specific sector of Boston that houses this group of folks. One of those "very vocal minority" type of situations. MA as a whole is generally pretty low on the racism spectrum.Brother you're from Boston and are telling me you don't hear racism...

I don't give af what anyone thinks. Aside from Boston (A notoriously racist city) there is way more racism in the south.Spare me the history lesson. We're talking about 2023... and I disagree, from my own experience.
None of these people live in Boston anymore. A lot of them moved to New Hampshire just over the boarder. Or they moved north of the city.Boston definitely has some deep seated racism going on. It's done a lot recently to repair its perception of being a racist city, but those Irish neighborhoods are still pretty shotty lol. I was out in Boston for the St. Pattys parade with a black friend and there were a few unsavory things said by people passing by.None of these people live in Boston anymore. Boston is a completely different city than it was even 10 years ago. Almost all transplants besides the OG minority neighborhoods in the southwest part of the city like Jamaica Plan
There is no Irish neighborhood anymore. Southie is now a post college neighborhood for people who went to providence college or university of New Hampshire.
