Racist Coach with ties to Dabo and Saban

Friend of mine lived in Seoul and had a very similar take on it (he's also black).

Funny thing is, I’ve been told some Japanese are racist towards Koreans. I had somebody tell me they consider them the “Latin Americans” of the area, implying they are more emotional, sloppier, less punctual, more disorganized, etc.

I saw a lot of that while I lived there. Definitely not all, but many Japanese people look down on South Koreans.

Unfortunately people aren't comfortable enough in this world to see reality. It's not a small town america problem. It's not an america problem period. It's not a white thing,a black thing,Spanish thing etc.
Reality is this occurs all throughout the world in every culture. The reality is it's persistent when people aren't raised with cultural diversity. They come to believe them and theirs is all that matters cause that's all they know. Thank God it's not everyone in those circumstances but it's definitely more common in those demographics. For some reason it seems it's mainly emphasized in white Americans. But for the people who travel from a domestic and international perspective we've all seen it everywhere. I personally think it's more common in older people who have experienced that kind of upbringing as the one positive I suppose you should take from social media is it's opened the worlds eyes to all aspects of life they previously didn't see as regularly. Proof in that would be all 5-8 year olds throughout the world who now choose what pronouns they wanna qualify themselves as... **** in a hand basket is what I'll say . Until people make a conscious choice on all sides to eradicate ignorance as a whole or atleast make a genuine effort than God knows when anything about this broken society will ever correct itself.
mark twain said traveling was the elixir for ignorance.

i had a black guy call me a spiiiccc to my face while playing basketball in rural north carolina. he didn't like that part of his eyeglasses adorned his face afterwards. i had a teenager call jose canseco a sppiccc when i was coaching high school baseball. i was on a boat recently for 2 days with a cuban and an american and they used the N word often. i didn't know them until the boat trip. i asked them not to use the word, so they used another similar but harmless word.

folks, racism exists in the white, black, asian and indian communities and among anglos, hispanics and others. it is universal.

not to be too technical, but i don't think the correct word is "racist". it is discriminatory and elitist. japanese believes they are superior to other asian cultures

One of my sons was stationed in Japan. They love American tourists, but overall, they don't want anything to do with immigration.
