Read in a USA TODAY article by Dan Woken:

"I think we all learn lessons through our coaching career, and if you start making excuses, players respond and use excuses. If I hear it from a coach, it's a bad day. If I hear it from a player, we have to get it fixed. Excuses cause problems."

Coaching 101. Al must have been absent that day.

I ******* hate this guy with a passion that burns as hot as the sun, but god **** can he coach some football.

Seriously, I can't wait for this nightmare to be over. Meyers, alpha male. Saban, alpha male. Miles, alpha male. Carroll, alpha male. Harbaugh, alpha male. Golden is the wolf who gets the scrap piece of meat taken out of his mouth by the alpha males and left to lick up blood from the kill only.

Houston just hired Urban's OC for 1.3 million per year.

Guarantee he would have us in much better shape next year than Al.

I hate Meyer too and OSU. But one thing is for sure he can Coach .... 3 National Titles not to bad !!

Love urban Meyer. Nothing to hate about that man. He's about winning and does what he needs to get it done. Give me that over some conniving manipulative weasel that hides behind a good guy image.

Great quote. I wonder where he plagiarized it.

Yeah, but he had an excuse.

Does it matter? Fat *** doesn't even have the balls to say that out loud!

No questioning Meyer's coaching abilities, but most of his peers still consider him to be as sleazy as scum grease for a reason. But, as an x and o football coach, you gotta give the man his due. The man addressed an issue with pass defense last year and corrected it by bringing in Chris Ash. Ash's solution to fixing the problem.........press coverage/quarters.
