True. Seems as though the reports are quite a lot better than the last several years. More like when we had Kaaya. Here's to the power of hope.....

Agreed. I should also add that I FULLY expect whoever the starter is, he will be significantly better than what we saw last year. 0.0 doubt in my mind the play will be better at that spot. Just would be nice to hear one of the kids was separating from the other 2 and maybe we can dream we’ve got a star on our hands. But worst case, it’ll be better than what we’ve had.

It'll come soon enough. Three highly touted guys coming out of HS... they won't all be duds.

It’s the 4th day of practice..... and your to declare what the abilities of the QB’s. Might as well pack it in and declare the season record to be 5 -5!
 
All of the this TE talk is making me really excited.
And that is without any mention of Irvin who I expect to play a big role for us this season too.

Maybe we can finally run some 2 and 3 TE sets near goal line and make Defenses have to cover all of them in short yardage.
I think we would have an advantage against every defense we face.

Was Zion the guy people were mad at because we flipped him from butler? I may not have the right but if so kudos to the coaches for seeing the potiential in a not highly recruited guy

Me too. If they can stay healthy there is serious talent there and a lot of different skillsets. I believe I was reading Polendey was practicing, Irvin looked decent in the spring, and Hodges has looked great thus far. We all know Mallory and Jordan are studs. I expect to see a lot of two right end sets and motioning Mallory or Jordan to be singled up with a favorable matchup.

If at times Enos needs to help the offensive line out having 2 mismatch tight ends who can at least chip block we have some options today.
