Quick Season Hype Video

This is the beginning of a 5-10 year run. And with a competent athletic department, it will be longer because the blue print has been provided.
For the folks old enough to have experienced the 80's through early 2000 run, we can see it. The stacked talent. The leveling up. The development. The grind. The work ethic. The competition. The removal of weaknesses from the roster.

Then when you see the NIL horizons, what we accomplished last year relative to the incoming cash and subsequent funneling back to NIL, it's clear. The narrative with elite high school kids has gone from "c'mon man, they're not relevant" to "they really develop players and play at an elite level."

And we have a psychopath for a head coach and for a DC.

Yep. I think some of the younger fans are unable to distinguish what is happening now from some of the fake runs we had before with 1 good year under Richt and 1 good year under Manny. Us older fans know what this looks like because we remember what it looked like in the ‘80’s.

This program is now institutionally secure, which is much more important than a single player or a good season. We are ahead or on par with every football program in terms of talent, strength and conditioning, nutrition, analytics, academics and now results on the field, and NFL development.

We may not run off 4 championships in 9 seasons as we did from 83-91 just because the playoff format has made it much harder to do so. But we should be in the top 10 of the rankings for the next 5-10 seasons, and top 5 in many of those seasons. We should be as good and sustainable as OSU has been, and hopefully with a few more championships.
